I’m Jihann Pedersen, owner of Pedersen Consultancy and a certified executive coach and business consultant.  I help clients build self-awareness, confidence, quality of thinking, behavioral change, personal satisfaction and, ultimately, individual and organizational performance. 

After working more than 15 years in leading corporations across the maritime, IT, and education industries, I started Pedersen Consultancy to lend my expertise to business professionals who want to achieve professional growth and quantifiable impact.

At the beginning of my career, my drive and ambition led me to my first management role already at the age of 25; since then I have worked in the Communications and/or Marketing departments of corporations across the globe, including the United States, Latin America, Asia and Europe.

I have led teams through reorganizational changes and have revamped team structures to better align with the overall goals of the company. My strength in business was managing often difficult stakeholders (shareholders, board members, C-suite execs, customers, suppliers), bringing out the best in individual team members and building high-performance teams even in challenging business environments.

I am formally trained as an executive coach through the University of California Berkeley Business School and the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute.  I also have a Master’s in Strategic Communications from George Washington University and have been member of many leadership boards throughout my career.

Thanks to my personal experience as a globe traveler and expat, I have learned to master the art of change and adaptability in the most diverse situations and cultures. In my work, this translates into being able to assess the situation quickly and guarantee the best results, no matter what the environment might be.
